Septic systems in Muskoka have evolved from hand dug trenches in the 50's and 60's to large machine installations. Wes Finch & Sons Excavating Ltd. has evolved with the new requirements.

To stay ahead of building code and product changes Wes Finch & sons Excavating Ltd. and many of our local building departments are members of the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association.

During a one hour visit David or Gene Finch can listen to your current and future plans, and then evaluate your property's septic potential. We can design a proposal and submit for a permit, often with a two week turnaround.

To minimize tree and soil disruption and maximize your property's potential, conventional systems may not fit. You may be able to take advantage of "new technology" systems, such as the Ecoflo peat moss filter bed. The system uses a regular septic tank, needs approximately 1/3 the space of a conventional system and sometimes can be installed to create a "flat "landscape.

We have installed approximately 70 Ecoflo units since 1999. We believe their simple treatment and strong maintenance program make Ecoflo the preferred choice for Muskoka installations.

With all systems we will prepare a quote outlining fixed costs and possible options to consider. Most systems can be installed in less than 3 days with or without you using the dwelling.
